XingGuang Media Park is the largest TV program-producing center as a non-public enterprise in China which was invested and constructed by Beijing XingGuang TuoCheng Investment Co., Ltd. XingGuang Media Park has forged three professional platforms of program production, satellite transmission and media hosting for media practitioners, which provides TV programming institutions with one-stop service including professional studios, equipments, technicians, satellite transmission, and other media related services.
The development of our project has been cared and supported by official leaders at all levels including the NPPCC Chairman Jia Qinglin, Vice Premier Wang Qishan, Beijing Party Secretary Liu Qi, Mayor Guo Jinlong, Deputy Mayor Ji Lin as well as leaders of relevant Beijing committees, offices and bureaus who had come to the Park for visit and survey.
So far, the park has completed a total investment of 1.05 billion RMB.
The first phase of XingGuang Media Park covers a total area of 160 mu (1070,00 square meters). The public program-producing area of about 40,000 square meters has been already completed, with large-scale studios, high/standard-definition machine rooms, satellite transmission rooms, dressing rooms, rehearsal facilities as well. The Public Programming Area mainly provides service of production, satellite transmission and public supporting for large-scale entertainment programs; the Independent Programming Area covers more than 20,000 square meters with small studios, virtual studios, directing & control rooms, editing rooms, satellite transmission control center, as well as various offices and other facilities, which mainly provides round-the-clock programming and satellite transmission services for the institutions or companies stationed at the Park for long-terms; the Integrated Service Center covering about 30,000 square meters is managed by CCTV Media Center, integrating facilities for large-scale meetings, caterings, accommodation and entertainment. The new media center which is under construction is a fashionable architectural complex with a total construction area of nearly 150,000 square meters, supported by facilities and equipment required by media program production and business exchange. The project has been listed as the municipal key projects of Beijing. The core function of the project is to provide full range of services for the television business in Beijing, film and television program production, trade presentation and other professional media services such as stage design, advertising, equipment rental, animation, and later stage professional work, etc.
The second phase of XingGuang Media Park is under construction, which covers an area of 60 mu and planed to build 15 Single-family buildings with a total construction area of 70 thousand square meters for program production. Target of the project is to provide Headquarters service or agency service for Chinese and foreign media organizations or companies. The project has been listed as the municipal key projects of Beijing, it’s main structure will be completed by the end of 2009.
The long-range planning objective of the XingGuang Media Park is to drive the around industries with the leadership of XingGuang, and extend the upstream and downstream industries, and extend the upstream and downstream industries. Based on the XingGuang Media Park, to establish a high-tech media industrial park integrating the three core functions of program production, satellite transmission and being Medias gather together, and the three auxiliary functions of education and training, conference and exhibition, and movie town.
